I woke up to fog, fog, and more fog on Tuesday so my plans to wander the Citadel were poo-poo'ed. Kind of hard to enjoy the view if you can't even see the actual hill! So I spent the day just hanging out in the room, surfing the internet and watching Rachel Ray.
We decided to head out for a yummy dinner. Our plans had been to check out the tour at Keith's Brewery then go eat, but because the weather was crappy I couldn't make up my mind. We ended up scrapping the brewery idea and just went for a really early dinner instead.
I had been talking about going to Bish the whole time I was in Halifax (I've seen it on "Opening Soon"!) so we opted to go there. It was sooooo good!! It was a little funny being there so early....we were the first people in the restaurant and it was still so light outside. I can imagine that it would be an awesome little spot if it was darker and a little busier. We got excellent service though!
I had these fantastic Scallops with Sweet Potato Tempura in ponzu sauce as an appy. I could have just eaten more of those for my main meal....they were sooooo good!! DBF had a lobster soup that was also to die for.
We finished up fairly quickly because the restaurant wasn't busy....and although it wasn't very warm out it had at least stopped raining so we walked back along the boardwalk for a while. Nothing super exciting going on there so we headed back to the hotel for another quiet night in.
