It seems to me that if you want one thing, you might have to give up another thing. The interior pics of that dream house went up today...and the kitchen sucks. It's modern and nice, but it's tiny. Not OK. Counter space is a must for me...I like to cook.
Having said that, all of the other houses I've seen online that have decent sized, modern kitchens don't seem to have rec rooms. We have our hearts set on a rec room because A) it would be nice for DBF to have a better space for his guitars and such, B) I like the idea of a nice living room free from doggy hair and such....he can live it up in the rec room.
It's still early!! It'll work out!
