Boooooo! Yes, folks, that's our posting date for Halifax. I say you couldn't get more inconvenient if you tried. (DBF brought that into perspective for me though...."sure it could...it could be December 25th...." touche!)
Before you ask, this IS the adjusted date. He was originally given Dec-3rd, but since that would be practically impossible he was granted a 30 day extension. Gotta love that protocol....30 days, even if 40 might have been a zillion times more convenient.
Anywho, looks like we'll be packing and moving when we would normally be decorating and celebrating. Merry Christmas to us!
We have a meeting this Thursday to find out more details about dates for the actual move, etc. Our househunting trip is scheduled for the last week of the month, so at least that's something. Of course, finding and closing a house in five days shouldn't be stressful at all!!
Oh, and I talked to my boss yesterday and no worries on my job. I'm keeping it! Thank Christ! I so was not looking forward to landing up there with no job and no contacts. That's one huge thing to take off our shoulders. Whew.

That sucks about the moving date. At least you get to keep your job! Have a good time house hunting, hopefully you'll find exactly what you're looking for :)
Oh wow, that is horribly incovenient BUT it is a WONDERFUL Christmas present!!! You get to live together after how long of being apart...maybe just do some minimal decorating???

oh, and Mr Stoppy says he wants a sun-room and Mojo wants a big yard on a busy street so can chose where to poop and bark at lots of people.. and a pool, mojo wants to start off each morning with a nice swim...

You've got some good friends sweetie and it's nice they're pointing out the positives of this whole move... with the exception of Mike of course, he's just plain demanding. Probably wants chocolate coated chips and lobster to go with the king size bed and sunrises!!

At this point, we don't know if we'll get more time together. He probably won't go away for 6 months again...but he'll be sailing at least a couple of weeks each month and probably ALL of March. Booooo!!!
oh yeah, I forget that Jaime is going to be able to send me lobsters & choclate coverted chips!

How many times do I have remind you people that those chips came from PEI?!!! Ha! And Mikey makes enough money he can import his own damn lobsters! Or better yet, come visit!!!
