DBF's Prezzie

I almost forgot to tell you guys....DBF's birthday prezzie actually arrived on Monday. I was astounded to see the courier at the door since I had received an email stating that the item wasn't even going to ship until Apr-15th (which I was a little miffed about considering I paid like $20 extra for 2-day delivery). I guess it must have been an automated email, because it arrived. Too bad they couldn't have had it here for the Friday, but such is life.

This is "Son of Man"...sometimes referred to as "The Faceless Businessman" (but only because that's what it was called in Thomas Crown Affair).

DBF has mentioned wanting it for quite some time now, and since the walls of our new house are essentially bare (because we refuse to hang any of our previous "art" up with our new stuff) I thought now was a good time to get it for him. He was surprised and happy with the giftie!

I have to say that I was pretty impressed with art.com. I happened upon it while searching for a place to buy this print and loved their massive selection and many, many framing options. Plus, they seem to regularly have sales, so the prices weren't tooooo far out there. We may order a few more things as our budget permits to start filling up some of our blank walls. :)
