Solar batteries?
Two of my cute little garden lanterns aren't lighting up. Boooo. They are so perfect when the blue lights come on. They are solar powered, but they do have battery-type things inside them. Anyone know if I can just replace those thingies? I guess it's another trip to the trusty local Rona to find out!

make sure your lights are actually getting enough sun during the day to power them at night. one of mine out the front was set back a bit too far and was sheltered by the roof overhang and didn't get enough sun to power it at night. just a thought... xo
I forgot to tell you that all that work going on where the Shar-Kare was, up by Southgate... we're apparently getting a Rona there!! Yaiiii for us in the South End.
The lamps are in direct sunlight....
I really like Rona! The people are so much friendlier than Home Depot (for the most part) and the stores are always very clean. Plus, they have Airmiles!
Yeah I'd check with the Rona guys. There must be something you can replace, but of course they can also make it just as expensive to buy a new set too!
RYC: I'm all down with the tricep exercises as of late too. I'm going to try that pull down machine for sure!
If you flip them over there should be a battery panel underneath (probably the lid part with the solar panel). I think you have to put some ni-cad rechargeable batteries in there. They're probly cheapest at superstore if you have one around there. :)
Oh and just a thought, make sure the switches are set to on. I had one that I was moving around to where I wanted it and didn't notice I accidentally switched it off. I was so ticked off when it wasn't working, and so red faced when I finally figured it out :p
There's a switch???
*runs downstairs to check on this immediately!*
Sooo?? Was there a switch?
