Things I Love!

Yaaaieeeeeee!!!! You like me, you really like me! Thanks Jen for tagging me in this survey (even if it was a bit of a pity tag...I'll take it!). LOL! :)

Now that I'm doing this, I really have to put my thinking cap on!!

FOOD:
- Good - Squirelly Bread w/ natural PB & bananas, homemade salads, fresh fruit, steamed asparagus, shrimp sammiches (w/ lemon & dill instead of lots of mayo), hummus & whole grain pitas (droooool), does coffee count as a food? because it should since I now love it with just skim milk and a smidge of dark brown sugar!!

- Bad - oh man, this could get ugly!! - Pizza...with pepperoni & extra cheese, Chinese take-out, greasy breakfasts....bacon is my all time favorite!, but bring on sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese, crunchy hashbrowns, mmmmmmmmmm, Cheetos Crunchits, real Coke, chocolate chip cookies (especially those giant 11 point ones from Starbucks!), cheeses of the world, french fries w/ mayo, fish & chips, mashed potatoes....ahhhhh, I told you it would get ugly!

FRUIT:
- Thank God I love fruit!! Red grapes are my all time staple (green will do in a pinch), bananas, watermelon, canteloup, plums, cherries, blackberries, strawberries, peaches (but I hate the fuzz), Gala apples, pineapple......

VEGGIES:
- My fridge ALWAYS has English cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, and some form of lettuce (usually Romaine hearts because I like the crunch)....but I also love brocolli, cauliflower, asparagus, zucchini, red onions, green onions, baby potatoes, spaghetti squash, fresh basil (fine, not a veggie, but close enough!), spinach, corn on the cob, green beans, snap peas....and every so often I crave celery sticks (usually with Cheeze Whiz!)....

CELEBRITY/PEOPLE:
- Ugh, this is a toughy. I've never been able to pick a favorite actor or actress. I used to say Tom Cruise, but that was pre-crazyperson! I do enjoy Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, and Russell Crowe these days though. I like Reese Witherspoon, and as much as I can't really stand her most of Rene Zellweger's movies are among some of my faves.
- I do get sucked in to reading a lot of the celebrity gossip lately (Brittney, Lindsey, Paris) but that's more for the internet reading factor than anything. I enjoy the plain ridiculousness of the whole situation....not necessarily the lives of any particular celebrity.

EVENT/SITUATION/INCIDENT:
- I'm honestly still waiting for this. I hate to sound like such a girl, but unless I end up with some sort of near death experience I think that my wedding day, followed by the birth of my future children will be the big, life altering events for me. I count my lucky stars that I don't have any serious illnesses or crazy accidents like a lot of you have to mark my major life events up til now....

TV SHOWS/MOVIES:
- TV - right now a lot of my faves are no longer on.... Gilmore Girls, Sex in the City, Dead Like Me, Six Feet Under... but I do enjoy Amazing Race, Big Brother, Entourage, the occasional episode of CSI, Grey's Anatomy and most of those Flip the House/Sell that House type shows...

- Movies - so many, who can think of them all! - The Princess Bride, Breakfast at Tiffaney's, Top Gun, The Lost Boys, Stand By Me, Fight Club, Gladiator, Walk the Line, Love Actually, and recently the new Transformers movie :)

MUSIC:
- I'm generally pretty easy to please. I can listen to almost anything but prefer Modern Rock. I DON'T DO RAP! Country I can take in doses...but who doesn't love some Johnny Cash?! Lately my iPod includes Finger Eleven, Three Days Grace, and OK-Go!

CHORES:
- I used to be a clean/neat freak...like my Mom. Then I moved in with the dog. Man, how I hate sweeping, dusting, vacuuming now!! I don't mind doing dishes...as long as I'm not the one doing them every day! I like cleaning the bathroom since I'm never happy with the job anyone else does.... but it's pretty tough to motivate myself to clean the tub so sometimes it gets a little past it's prime. LOL. Laundry doesn't really seem like a chore...but putting it away sure does!

AROUND THE WORLD:
- Having just returned from my first trip to the Maritimes, seeing more of Canada has definitely been pushed up my priority list. I enjoy seeing how different parts of my own country can be from the West Coast. I look forward to the day that I get to see Montreal, or even Calgary, or Winnipeg. This doesn't mean that I don't continue to want to see the world though! New York, Cuba, Mexico, Spain....I will get there! I've seen Paris, Rome and London....but I'd see them again in a heartbeat!

ABOUT MYSELF:
- I'm stubborn, but tend to give in pretty easily.
- I get angry at simple things, but it generally passes within moments.
- I'm not much for holding a grudge, unless it's something truly worth holding on to.
- I like to bake, cook, try new recipes, guinnea pig my friends.
- I cry at silly movies and TV shows, but usually only if I'm alone.
